Growing and Learning in Nature

OUR AIM
Little Nature was born from a shared belief that childhood should be spent exploring, discovering and developing a genuine connection with the natural world. Â
Â
Each child connects with nature in their own unique way, our passionate and dedicated team nurtures each child's interests, encouraging them to explore, ask questions and experiment, supporting them as they develop into confident and independent learners.

Our philosophy is inspired by the belief that children learn best through first-hand experiences and with regular access to the natural environment, children develop confidence, independence, resilience and a strong sense of self.

Our hope is simple: Â every child should leave with happy memories, muddy boots, a love of nature, confidence in themselves and a sense of wonder about the world. Â

THE FARM
At the heart of Little Nature is our founders beautiful small-scale family farm. The farm has been owned by the family for many generations and it's now part of the inspiration for Little Nature.

Set in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, you will find us in the small village of Ifold, nestled between Plaistow and Loxwood. Â We have the Wey & Arun Canal and Forestry land just round the corner along with public bridle paths all around, providing many opportunities for local wildlife.

Our farm is home to horses, chickens, bees, dogs and cats and, in time, will be home to pigs and goats. Â We also have a range of wild animals that regularly visit such as deer, badgers, pheasants and various birds.

Location
How to Find Us
Our setting's entrance is on a one track lane within a Private Estate where there are no pathways and all roadways are Public Bridleways. Â

To make passing easier on the one track lane, we hope to install a passing bay on our land by our gate. Â
Â
There are many local dog walkers, children and horses etc on our roads, therefore care must be taken when driving through.Â

There is a 20 mile per hour limit that we ask you to adhere too.

In the interests of our environment, we encourage visitors, parents and carers to car share where possible, or travel by bike or on foot whenever you can.

When arriving or departing our setting, we ask that you consider the local residents by keeping noise to a minimum.

Thank you
